In order to balance and awaken the dormant spiritual energy at the base of the spine, kundalini yoga postures are performed. These poses stimulate the chakras and improve the flow of prana (life force) throughout the body when paired with breathwork, mantras, and meditation. In addition to increasing strength, flexibility, and stamina, kundalini yoga poses foster cerebral clarity, emotional stability, and spiritual development.
